How to maintain temporary table(s) between query executions.

By default Workbench will close a connection to the server after query execution.  This is great to save resources, but sometimes you need to keep around a temporary table.

The Workbench product has an option to keep your connection open between queries.  To enable this option:

1. Click the tools icon above the query window

2. Choose Current Query Options

3. Check the box for "Keep connection open between executions"
