In the Snowflake Connector please make SCHEMA menu option a mandatory selection choice along with existing Database, Warehouse, and Role. See illustration below.
It took me a long time to figure out why some calls to system functions run fine at Snowflake native console but fail in Aginity Pro.
For example, this will fail with Aginity Pro default settings:
select * from table(information_schema.COPY_HISTORY(table_name=>'my_database.public.my_table', start_time=> try_to_timestamp_ltz('1564607249'))) ;
Error [02000 / 2003]: SQL compilation error: Table 'my_database.public.my_table' does not exist.
because Aginity Pro sets the default schema is <null>. One work around is to run USE SCHEMA in batch bundle along with the statement above. For instance, this will succeed:
use schema PUBLIC;
select * from table(information_schema.copy_history(table_name=>'my_database.public.my_table', start_time=> try_to_timestamp_ltz('1564607249'))) ;
Viewing all session context variables will help to investigate the current session settings:
This is the workaround using Aginity Pro connection Advanced Properties. Likewise it's a proposed long term design solution:
